This section controls functions of the application portion of your job board.
Application to use for Desktop/Mobile: You can choose how long the application is here.
- Standard application requests basic contact info, such as name, email, phone, and a resume.
- Classic application requests the same as above, but also requests address (not a required field), "How did you first hear about this opportunity?" (optional - this sets the referral source on the job - see below for how to add values to this list) and "What types of jobs interest you?" (which adds this candidate to your category mailings list for that category/ies).
- Long application includes all classic options in addition to two new tabs requesting work experience and education. The information requested on these tabs is not required.
Set Send Job Alerts by Default: This function is enabled by default. If for some reason you need to stop saved search notifications from sending to your candidates, uncheck this box.
Require a zip/postal code: Requires your candidates to add their zip when applying.
Display Country Select: Allows you to display a country select on the application.
Require a resume to be uploaded: This function will require a candidate to upload a resume on DESKTOP ONLY. The text resume field will be hidden. Candidates on mobile devices are not required to upload a resume.
Require a resume to be in word format if uploaded: This will limit uploads to only word docs.
Hide Text Resume Field: This function will prevent a candidate from pasting a resume.
Hide Signup Buttons: This function will hide signup buttons, saved search options, and the password prompt on the job board and application.
Require Captcha on Application or Sign in: This function will require an applicant to complete a Captcha prior to submitting their application or creating an account.
Display Related Jobs: This function will display related jobs in the sidebar of the full job description page.
Display "Call Us" Button: Shows a "Call Us" button on the mobile job details page.
Display: How did you first hear about this opportunity? This question will display (by default) on the classic application.
Also make this required: You can also require it to be answered by checking this box.
Custom Referral Source List: Enter one source per line. These sources will replace the default list of Job Board, Job Fair, Newspaper, Referral, Social Media, and Web Search. Other will always be added as the last option. Do not include it here. If you'd prefer not to see the "Other" option, you can disable it by unchecking the box next to: Show option OTHER for referral sources
Default Prequalification Form: This will allow you to set a specific prequalification form that you set up to be added prior to filling out an application for ALL jobs. This can also be set on a per job basis on the job posting screen.
