Career Portal Category Descriptions and Landing Page Feature

Recently, we implemented a Career Portal feature that displays Category Descriptions and jobs in that category on a landing page. You can get to this landing page when the category is clicked on your job postings. This was created to improve SEO and provide more real estate for search engines to crawl and index. Another benefit is you will get URLs to share on social media, through email, etc. that shows specific job postings in that category. 

The default verbiage is AI generated. If you don't like the default content being displayed, you can edit it to whatever you like in MyHaley under Career Portal → Manage Categories → pick a category and update the description. If you make updates, you can always switch back to the default description by clicking the Use Default button.

We can also completely disable this feature for you if you prefer. Please reach out to success@haleymarketing.com if you'd like this disabled!
