How to Use the Magic Write Feature in the Haley Marketing Career Portal
This help article guides you through the steps to use the Magic Write feature in the Haley Marketing Career Portal. This feature allows you to easily rewrite job descriptions with options to simplify language, make them longer or shorter, fix grammar and spelling, summarize, or completely rewrite the content.
Steps to Use Magic Write

Access the Career Portal
- Log in to your Haley Marketing account.
- Navigate to the Career Portal section.

Manage Jobs
- Click on Manage Jobs to view the list of available job postings.
- Select a Job:
- Choose the job for which you want to rewrite the description.
- Edit Job Description:
- Scroll down to the Description section.
- Click on the purple Edit button to start editing the job description.
- Choose a Prompt Type:
- Under the Prompt Type drop down, select what you would like the Magic Write feature to do:
- Simplify Language
- Make it Longer
- Make it Shorter
- Fix Grammar and Spelling
- Summarize
- Rewrite
- Select the Tone:
- Choose the desired tone for the rewritten job description. Options might include Professional, Casual, Enthusiastic, etc.
- Generate New Text:
- Click on Generate to allow the Magic Write feature to create a new version of the job description based on your selected prompt and tone.
- Review and Edit:
- Once the new text is generated, review it carefully.
- Make any additional changes or edits as needed.
- Finalize the Text:
- If you are satisfied with the new job description, click on Use Text to replace the existing description. If you want to try a different prompt or make further adjustments, you can generate a new prompt.
Important Note for ATS Integration Users: If you have an ATS (Applicant Tracking System) integration and you edit a job description that was imported to the Haley Marketing Career Portal, using the Magic Write feature will not overwrite these changes during subsequent syncs from the ATS. Your edited job descriptions will remain intact.
