Rackspace Issues Maintenance Windows

As you may be aware, our web servers are physically hosted with Rackspace.com, the world's largest provider of cloud infrastructure.  Haley Marketing has over 30 dedicated servers at Rackspace, which we monitor 24/7/365. We employ not just web servers, but also load balancers, firewalls, and backup services to help ensure optimal performance for your site and services.

Rackspace has informed us that they will be conducting maintenance on May 14, 2018 and May 21, 2018. We believe that the maintenance may result in a brief interruption of service to your site.

Maintenance Window One, May 14 - May 15: 

  • Start Time: 5/14/18 11:00 PM EDT 
  • End Time: 5/15/18 5:00 AM EDT 
  • Impact: There may be intermittent connectivity interruptions of up to 5 minutes during the course of the maintenance window. 

Maintenance Window One, May 21 - May 22: 

  • Start Time: 5/21/18 11:00 PM EDT 
  • End Time: 5/22/18 5:00 AM EDT 
  • Impact: There may be intermittent connectivity interruptions of up to 5 minutes during the course of the maintenance window. 

Rackspace's Statement:

Expected disruption:
Customer instance with isolated networks will have issues with Broadcast, Unknown unicast, and multicast traffic for approximately 5 mins.
 
Maintenance events:
Rackspace Network Services will be performing phase II of a disruptive maintenance in our ORD data center to migrate Cloud Networks infrastructure between 22:00 on May 21 and 04:00 on May 22, 2018 CDT. We have taken precautions in preparation for this maintenance and do not anticipate a disruption lasting longer than 30 minutes.
