The WordPress administrative login URL will be changing from to

This change is necessary to mitigate issues with continual brute force attacks directed at WordPress sites that are hosted on our servers. The change will take effect on Wednesday, 5/11/16 at 8:00am EDT.

Brute force attacks are very invasive. WordPress websites are typically victims of login brute force attacks, where attackers use automated tools to send 100s and 1000s of login requests using a list of random usernames and passwords. The aim is to guess a username and password combination and gain access to the admin pages of the target WordPress website. (excerpted from WP Whitesecurity)

While are very sorry that this change is an inconvenience, please understand that the security of your website is our top priority.
